Okay, I'm seeing the new posting interface now. Hrm.

Also, it hasn't cleared up a problem I've had practically since I joined LJ, which is overlapped headers. I've got the swirly pencil and Livejournal on blue, with a navy horizontal band on which is a black "P", the choices "Journal, Manage, Search, Help, and About" and "arliss" in black. Overwriting that, encroaching on the navy band almost enough to make it illegible, is "To post as another user, click here" with the link. The Home link is to the far left, then Date:, Update Journal, and Subject: line up vertically on the left, with the date and subject boxes above and below "Update Journal". And on the right, the "Search" and "Category" boxes overlie the two new grey boxes for "Paid account options" and "Download a client". Some of the words are overlaid and obscured with the "search" and "category" boxes.

When I've hit "post", it will tell me I can read my post "here" with the link, but it will be partially hidden behind the blue banner bar, and I'll have to mouse delicately to hit the link bar.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Does anybody else have the same sort of screwy stuff on their login and posting pages?

I use Semagic most of the time, which has a local interface I really, really like with many useful button and menu commands. I only use the posting interface when I am at a 'strange' computer. I do really recommend it, it has so many useful shortcuts!

Fuzzy Dief icon! Makes me grin.

I may try another system. Thanks.

I have that same problem, and have since I upgraded my browser to Netscape 7.

A-HA! That's what I'm using. Apparently it's a bug--feature!--of Netscape 7. Thanks

Oh! I have the overlap problem at work, where I use Explorer 5 but not at home where I use Explorer version unknown!
