I have a cup and saucer in three different Corelle patterns--all florals. I picked them up as odd pieces at Goodwill for pennies. I think they're pretty, and since nobody in my house drinks from a cup and saucer, they don't need to match anything!
How are you doing? I haven't caught up on my flist today. Hope things are going well with you.
I have a set of Corelle dishes in the Lyric pattern, and a modest collection of serving bowls and platters in assorted patterns, including this floral one. IMO, Corelle is much superior to most other dinnerware out there--GK has plates from Ikea that chip if you look at them funny--she keeps having to get replacement pieces--whereas I've had the same dishes for going on 20 years. They *will* break if they take a direct blow from something--I've lost *one* plate that way--but they don't chip!
Things have been challenging. I haven't posted because it's all such a soap opera, tho I should. Enjoyed your Imbolc altar, btw. You always have such pretty ritual space!
Lynden consignment shop, $2.00! And H found it for me. I call it my cannonball pot, which is probably why he'll touch it. It's a manly name, and there're no flowers to spread girl cooties! But--he does make cookies, and bring me tea. He can drink out of a macho mug all he likes!
