The Chariot often appears when hard control is or could be in evidence. At its best, hard control is not brutal, but firm and direct. It is backed up by a strong will and great confidence. The Chariot can mean self-control or control of the environment. This card also represents victory. There are many types of wins; the Chariot's is of the win-lose type. Your success comes from beating the competition to become number one. Such moments are glorious in the right circumstances. Enh, pthlbbbbphtt. Means conflict, with the black horse and the white horse. Also, unable to decide, being pulled both ways. What else is new? I don't really see hard control here. And nor do I ever "overcome competition" to "win." I believe in neither competition nor "winning." I'm not interested in being "better than" anyone or anything other than my own best. So either their description of the card is wrong, or I pulled the wrong card.

This sounds not much like you, dear one. Do you have a card you consider close to your personality or life situation?
And good morning!

I think I've always sort of identified with the Empress, and the nine of swords, you know, back and forth between those two.
But I'm trying to be the card in my icon, The Sun. To turn loose of all that stuff I can't affect, and at least some of the stuff I've taken to myself as responsibility. Forgiving myself, believing in my own worth, experiencing joy.
