My altar is reset. I used the colorful table runner with lots of red, green, yellow, white and blue in the pattern, the chased silver chalice and candlesticks I only use this time of year. The tapers have small fake-but-pretty evergreen rings around their bases. The center candle is set in the red, blue and green frosted glass candlestick that's only used for this time. The copper sun tealight holder, a frosted red and a vine-embossed bottle green glass votive holder provide the rest of the light.
On the bookshelf the owl's eyes flicker, and on the desk the cat's green eyes glow too. There are other votive candles around the room, and the beaded glass shade glows amber and gold. On the coffee table the cats draw their circle around the candle flame. (I'm very grateful for the chips and bumps discount that netted me these pretties for less than half price.)
