Well, wonders never cease. While trolling the 'net for vid of Robin of Sherwood, triggered by someone recognising Ray Winstone, RoS' Will Scarlet, in ads for the new King Arthur movie, I ran across some interesting information on Mark Ryan, RoS' Saracen, Nasir. It seems that not only has he become a second unit director and assistant swordmaster on films such as First Knight, he also worked with Michael Praed on the Jules Verne series, and is currently the swordmaster for King Arthur. Scroll down the page to his list of references. Kiera Knightly is on there, as is Steve Dent and the ubiquitous Bob Anderson.
Also? Ryan also managed to help create my very most favorite tarot deck, the Greenwood, which I have loved forever, and only found out today that he--and RoS--were responsible for its creation (scroll halfway down the page).
