Whew, reprieve at the eleventh hour. Well, the ninth hour, anyway.

So, I got a call. I asked how things are going. Really well. Really really well. Scared her. Enough that she's not only talking, she's listening, and hearing. He says.

Well, okay. I'm relieved, of course, and hopeful for them. But I think I've heard variations on this theme before so I'm not standing all the way down. I'm at defcon 2, and we'll see how it goes. I hope they work it out, I really do. And I'm very very grateful I didn't have to get in the middle of it, where I have absolutely no business being. Even knowing that, I really wanted to sit them both down and make them talk, and really listen. Not my place, not my job, and she wouldn't have done either, just because it was me. So I'm glad it happened, however it happened, especially grateful it wasn't on me.

Could I be any more cryptic?

Could I be any more relieved?

Did I say woohoo and Yay! for not having to do the live-in nanny thing? Woohoo! And Yay!

Cryptic, but we get the general idea. I'm glad you don't have to nanny. Really vibing that things work out for the two folks involved, and for you. too.

Thanks. I'm trying to sit on the giddy, because that just attracts the trickster, you know? But yeah, very hopeful.
