Went for a drive this afternoon, rather than fixing the chimney. We're hoping to do it when we get back tomorrow afternoon from visiting his mom. I told mine tonight I'd plant impatiens for her, I found her the perfect card, but I still need to get her a Whitman's Sampler, since that's her favorite. And truthfully, she'll be expecting it.

Breyer's caramel crunch swirl ice cream is fabuloso. Would anybody miss me if I just crawled into the carton?

Cleaned out the fridge tonight and checked the remaining contents. Something still smells--I can't find what it is. I washed down the floor of the fridge and the bottom shelves and the drawers with soda--not helping. I must have overlooked something.

I'm a little peeved with one of my new tarot decks. The illustrations are wonderful, very evocative, if not the traditional imagery. But the artist, while he exhibits a wonderful sense of humor and playfulness, has a regretable penchant for undressing his women. Not that that's distressing--but all his men are fully clothed. Unfair.
