I've lost a story, I think it's called "Talismans", about the leather bracelets both brothers wear. A quick and dirty search hasn't turned it up, but I'm still looking. Can anybody steer me right?

THANK you! Of course I remember it. I'm a lose-myself-in-the-details person, often to the detriment of my grasp of the big picture. (Big Picture often scary) Adding to memories, and thanks again!
