slow on the uptake

I've been watching and enjoying the British series airing on PBS, "Rosemary & Thyme," about two energetic late-middle-aged ladies traveling about, working on other people's gardens, and solving murders along the way.

Imagine my surprise to discover that Pam Ferris, who plays Laura Thyme, was Aunt Marge!

I love Rosemary and Thyme! My Tivo recommended it. French and Saunders did a hilarious send-up in one of their variety shows.
