Well, I'm glad Joss got to make his movie. It wasn't my movie. It wasn't my 'verse. There were changes to character and spirit I know he had to make to put butts in seats and I hope it does well for him. I won't see it again, and he's going to have to work awful hard to get me to see another one, if he gets to make one.

As soon as I get home, I'm breaking out the dvds.

The stories may be boring, unless you get happily geeked at the thought of people in a room typing to each other on their computers. I just told Sail, "Yeah, but at home we'd just be talking to the screen. Here, we get to hear the asides and the snark."

We (minus [livejournal.com profile] charlotte_buff, because she's STILL not up, in spite of the aroma of yummy coffee) were just desultorily discussing what to do today until we show up at Deb's. We just consensed on the lazy approach. More coffee, Trader Joe's, back to the apartment to pack up and get ready to partay, and catch up online, and off to Deb's. You'd think there'd be stuff to See! And! Do!

Er, not so much. Here is good. Oooh! Sail just opened the blinds, and [livejournal.com profile] la_perkins' gorgeous view greeted us. Treetops! Bay shoreline! Nice characterful clouds! Yeah, here is good.
