1. What's on your bedside table?
CD rack, books, miniature wedding photo, catchall basket with emery board, lip balm and hand cream.

2. What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
Kodo? Movie soundtracks? Shakuhatchi and Native American flute?

3. What do you eat/drink when you raid your fridge at night?
Apple, Fuji. Occasionally cheese (extra sharp cheddar, garlic and herb cheddar, Gouda, Jarlsberg, farmer's) and wheat thins. Or a bowl of frosted mini wheats, dry.

4. What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
Anything. Really. Spirited Away, LotR (all three), hell, I even cried at Blue Hawaii.

5. If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
Upper arms, boob lift, full body lift, after gastric bypass and a year with a trainer.

6. Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Being on the sidewalk and surrounded by tall buildings. It's a type of claustrophobia. They lean in on top of me.

7. What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
I bite my upper lip over my bottom lip and teeth. I'm the amazing no-visible-lip girl.

8. Do you ever have to beg?
I used to. Now if I have to beg I lose interest.

9. Do you have too many love interests?
Never.

10. Do you know anyone famous?
Yes.

11. Describe your bed.
Metal frame, no headboard, no footboard, but a killer new box spring and poufy-top mattress. 100% cotton sheets, cream with block printed sage green leaves and grey stems, paired with solid sage green or grey sheets, (print top sheet, solid fitted sheet, or vice versa) two print, two solid pillowcases on four queensized pillows. Cream cotton thermal blanket, cream, blue and tan print polar fleece throw. Two kingsized pillows stand upright against the wall as headboard/draft stopper/reading rest, dressed in shams that match the bedskirt and the window curtains.

12. Spontaneous or plan?
I enjoy nice surprises, but only after I get accustomed to the idea. Much more comfy planning.

13. Who should play you in a movie about your life?
Julie Walters. Or Tracy Ullman.

14. Do you know how to play poker?
Never interested me.

15. What do you carry with you at all times?
A bottle of water. When I smoked I'd have coughing fits so I started carrying a water bottle. I like having one around in case there's no fountain.

16. How do you drive?
Very well. Hyper-aware front, sides and back, shoulders of the road, three cars ahead, oncoming, watching the tires and the body language of the driver immediately ahead. Also a bit aggressively, as my car is small and nimble, and I can usually accelerate out of or around a situation quicker than braking to avoid it. Also, if I'm driving ballsy, SUV drivers see me, even in my small car. Note: This is primarily small town and highway driving, not city gridlock.

What do you miss most about being little?
The way time lasted a whole day. I want those long summer afternoons back, all the thirty-seven weeks of December before Christmas FINALLY arrived. The six months that was an eternity rather than a two-week blip on the schedule.

18. Are you happy with your given name?
Yes, I had to grow into it.

19. What color is your bedroom?
Yergh. Knotty pine.

20. What was the last song to which you were listening?
"In Dreams" (sob)

21. Have you ever been in a school play?
Many

22. Have you ever been in love?
Yes.

23. Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
Yes. And mostly.

24. Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
No, I've led a spotless and ultimately boring existence.

25. Do you think you're cute?
Yes, in an anthropomorphised sort of way. I used to be sexy. I think I outgrew it. Literally.

26. Do you consider yourself a nice person?
Oh yes, nice, boring, self-aware, non-judgmental, empathetic, blahblahblah.

I used to be sexy.

What's this "used to be" shit? You are damn sexy, woman.
