I really, really liked piece. It's quiet, clean and heartbreaking. I've already read it a couple of times, and I know I'll come back to it.
Bobby's memories of the boys that reveal how he became a father to them in ways that John wasn't were particularly nice. It was very moving to see him be the strong father when Sam died, trying to keep everything together, take care of practical stuff, take care of Dean, even when he was in so much pain himself.
You've really done a great job with Bobby's voice and made me like him even more. Thanks for letting me know about this.
