I didn't think a Mighty Wind was funny. I felt so sad. I dated Randy (my mind just went blank) very briefly and he told me of his dreams of creating a folk singing group. Then his New Christy Minstrels made it big. Then he sold the group for 7 million dollars. Then the whole shebang collapsed. Not that quickly, but still.
The movie was so spot on in the characterizations. As I say, it made me sad.
