I helped beta for her, and helped urge her to find an agent and submit it to publishers, I'm one of the faceless and nameless Buffistas in it, I know most of the people she writes about, and have met a lot of them in person. But, even if I didn't know her, it's a fabulous book, with a really informed, perceptive view of fandom.
