I haven't had a hero like Neil DeGrasse Tyson since Carl Sagan. I'm so glad to have someone like him in the public sphere. He's a warm and charming ambassador for intelligence and inquiry and knowledge, and we need that desperately right now, in this present atmosphere of fear and hatred for the intellect and any investigation into the origins of life, and the questions and answers history and science have for us all.
