Back to Defcon 2...

In local news, sanity has returned to the building. H and StY spent the day trekking from one used-car lot to another all over the state yesterday, and crossed off 3/4 of the list they'd found online, plus looking at others they hadn't found online (those they looked up by VIN# when they got home last night and found out the dirty on them). H and I talked the finalists over this morning, and decided that staying within our budget and getting something useful and practical for StE, that he can pay us back for, is the way to go. A few years down the metaphorical and literal road, if we need something posher, we can look around then for a new-to-us car for us.
