you are steelblue
#4682B4

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

Feh. H bought new Norton and stuff, and to install everything he first deleted the old versions. Fine. Then he wanted to install GoBack (which is wonderful and I love it and it's worked all three times I've had to use it), but the HD didn't have enough contiguous space. So H decided to install a 100K chip, in addition to the 60K one, mirror everything on the 60K to the 100K and designate it as the primary, which would leave ample contiguous space for the GoBack install.

There followed a bunch of shortcuts and minor bad decisions, each in itself not immensely affecting anything, but in their cascade effect resulting in no loss of data (hopefully), but the power supply has given up the ghost and is no longer supplying much of anything. H drives by the computer parts place twice on work days. And since he now is at the point of flinging computer parts with a catapult or a trebuchet, just for funsies, H's declared a draw for the day. Which means I'll be without the PC tonight, tomorrow, and until he A)can get a new power supply, and 2) feels like/has the time to install it.

Which, okay, fine, I have the laptop (I'm posting on). The only rilly irritating thing? Is that I have a lengthy document that I need to fiddle with while I print it, that I was going to do on Friday, but StY came by because he needed to use the computer, and when he was done he wanted to visit and WOULDN'T SHUT UP until I gave up getting my stuff printed. So even though now I can't mail it till tomorrow, I was going to get it done yesterday. But there were other things going on and every time I sat down at the computer I got called away to help, so I gave up since, after all, I had all day today to do it. Except that this morning before I even sat down at the desk, H said, "Don't turn on the computer! I need to razzlefrazit," and here we are now. Documentless, not printed, and not get-at-able. If I'd had sense, I'd have emailed it to myself as an attachment. That way I'd have been able at least to fiddle with it and print off the laptop.

The other thing that has me grinding my teeth is--what if it's *not* the power supply, and everything on the HD is just...gone? It doesn't bear thinking about.

I'm thinking seriously about that rock-and-chisel thing.
