I think it's been too damn hot here for the Japanese beetles, it's been hovering around 90 since early June. We still have a goodly number of box elder beetles, though, and they're very annoying, too. I'd really appreciate it if you'd send some rain up here. We haven't had any since the weekend of the fourth. Although, the lack of mosquitoes has been a boon I'm almost loath to give up. My potted garden needs it, though. Even watering everyday isn't enough, they need to be soaked externally,too.
