The one near Morehead City, in NC. We've had a time-share condo week there nearly 20 years. And before that we used to stay at the Ramada in Salter Path, on the bank. Is there an Atlantic Beach in Georgia?
H got a lot done today. He cut up downed limbs from the ice and wind the last couple of weeks and put them out for curbside pickup. He cleaned out the bed of the old truck--with the camper shell, it had been serving as a combo tool shed and storage locker. He's donated it to a friend for the cost of the towing, so it'll be leaving the yard. He found alternate places to store all the stuff he cleared out, and then he discovered and fixed an electrical problem in the new truck.
I got some sewing done that had been hanging fire for a while. I vacuumed the floors and cleaned the bathroom yesterday, so today I changed the bed and put away most of the clean laundry. We watched dvds and had grilled salmon steaks with rice for dinner. So it was a nice and productive day, even if we didn't make it to the beach. I just quailed at the thought of all those hours in the car today.
